A few weeks after I have changed the overall look of my blog, I simply cannot resist the urge to do a total overhaul.
I finally found the perfect layout! This is the best thing I’ve done all day. Lol. Please do post comments. There are “add comment“ buttons at the end of each blog entry. Once you click that, you will be taken to the dedicated page of my blog entry. Scroll down a bit and you will find an “Open comments” button. Click that and watch the comments module magically appear.
Pretty cool huh? You don’t have to fill in the E-mail field. Just your name would be good enough. If you look to your right, you will see a calendar and my Flickr photo stream. It doesn’t have any new pictures of me yet. Once I get a new digital camera, you can bet that everyday will be picture-taking day!
The semester is almost finally over. I still have one practical Physics lab exam tomorrow and I still have to pass my Renaissance Lit. final paper on Monday. I’ll probably start on that tomorrow. For now, I just want to lie down and sleep. I’ve been working on my blog’s new appearance since 10am. Lol. This is it for now. I just need to get some shut eye.
Tell me what you think of my blog’s new look. I would really appreciate it.
BTW, scroll down to the bottom of my page. You will see there my del.icio.us bookmark feed. Check out the Nintendo Wii experience videos. The Wii is so awesome!

It’s about time! North Korea finally tests their own nuclear bomb and they hailed it as a success and a great leap forward in the building of a great prosperous powerful socialist nation. Although there is still no absolute guarantee that the North indeed detonated a Nuclear weapon, strong evidences are available. I have already given my opinion on why the North was pushing for such a test. (see post BELOW) Things will become extremely interesting in the next few days. Kim Jong Il has finally reached the summit of his rule.
Anyway, I should probably put something that a blog is meant to have: everyday adventures! I had my first final exam today for Film. It was another weird Russian movie! It was cool and inconceivable at the same time. Watching them speak made me want to pursue my dream of learning to speak Russian. I will definitely pursue my German language lessons either during the semester’s break or the Christmas break. I already contacted the Goethe Institut of Manila. If my family doesn’t pursue our plans to go to Macau and Hong Kong in the coming weeks, I will start attending the language classes. I really want to become a linguist. I don’t feel that the language program in my university is good enough. I would rather learn the language from the institutions setup by their respective embassies here in Manila. Plus, I don’t like the languages offered. Multi-national corporations are always looking for people to handle their operations abroad. Of course, your specialization is a plus, but there are only a handful of people who are able to speak different languages, making them extremely versatile in whatever conditions they may be in. Also, you get paid in US dollars, no matter what country you get assigned to!
Learning other languages would greatly aid me if I ever go into business. I can already imagine the look of my German/Russian business partner’s face when I speak in their native tongue.
I also want to do this because I have this weird fetish when it comes to the German and Russian languages. It just sounds so cool! So either way, whether we go to Hong Kong or we stay here, I am on the winning end.
Tomorrow, I have my Physics finals and my Pol. Gov. finals. Oops. Better start studying.

We finally finished Project: Citizen! It’s our term project for Phil. Politics and Governance. Our presentation to the barangay officials was really smooth. They actually adopted our suggestion! We completely nailed this project! All of us came out of the barangay hall with big smiles on our faces. On our way to the barangay hall, I realized that it was the last time we were going to ride together in Nicolei’s car. Savor the moment. We had similar realizations at the end of this project. The environment must be taken care of. It should start with an individual. One shouldn’t think that even if they litter just one tiny piece of trash, it wouldn’t matter. If everyone else thought that way, it would spell disaster to the environment.
After the presentation, we drove to the nearest McDonald’s restaurant. All of us had the new McRice Chicken Burger. It was good! I can already imagine how much carbs I took in today.
You know what they say: A few moments on the lips, forever on the hips! The chicken itself was similar to that one found in the regular McChicken Sandwich. They dropped me off my house and drove back to school because they still have exams. I’ currently finishing up our group paper. What a great sigh of relief.
