The one with the post where I talked a lot
I am starting to love Economics! I can’t believe that my father got me into the stock market and business outsourcing.
Lol. I keep picturing where I would work a couple of years from now. I think I would be happy with either a degree in Business Management or Marketing. I can’t wait to earn enough money to buy my own car or anything that can be considered as a major investment (maybe a Rolex or an Omega?
)
Every time I wake up in the morning, I keep hoping that it will be a day I will wear extra layers. I have this thing for jackets. I feel like I am more complete with it. That’s why my parents keep telling me that I will feel at home in Canada when the time to move finally comes. I completely agree. From what we’ve discussed, it will happen after I get a degree in UA&P. While I think that is awesome, sometimes I feel like I am ready to move at an earlier time. Some people would think that moving out of my motherland is due to the political turmoil enveloping the country. To be honest, that logic is half right. While I do think that my country is still great in one way or another, there are just too many factors here that hinder progression.
Take for example, the upcoming elections. Garci, a person whom I consider a gluttonous pig, is going to run for congressman. What guarantee do the Filipino people have that it will be a free and fair election, one of the primary ingredients of Democracy. Another idiot is Manny Pacquiao. While he reigns supreme in boxing, he spreads a demonic plague every time he is on TV, singing. To make matters worse, he is going to run as the Vice-Mayor of Manila in the next elections. Chances are, he will win. What’s going to stop the millions of uneducated people (let’s admit it. Don’t be a hypocrite. No education=stupidity.) from electing him into office? What will become of the Philippines in a few years time? You come up with a positive answer to that, you tell me.
Now, back to the logic. The other half of the logic previously mentioned is wrong. I want to make sure that I will be able to make a difference in my own little way. If fate is beside me when I start working, and hopefully still be with me if I reach the top of the corporate ladder, I will push through with my plans. It won’t be something that will change the direction of my motherland, but it’s a start. And if there are other people like me with the same plans, it would become a breakthrough.
Wow! I have talked a lot today! Lol.
It wasn’t even my intention to discuss what could be the political roadmap of my country. Oh well. What’s done is done I say.
