The one with Manny’s english
Well, I wasn’t surprised with the outcome of the boxing match every Filipino has been waiting for. Since the first round, it was already clear who would win. I don’t this this much but here goes…
Congratulations Manny.
It is a good day to be a Filipino! I am just worried that the world’s shortest female president might capitalize on the occasion to make herself look like somebody who cares, despite what might be written on several water delivery trucks moving around the metro. With regard to my previous post, I hope Manny does not allow himself to be manipulated by politicians here. If you didn’t know, he will run for Vice-Mayor of Manila, alongside the the wife of Manila’s current Mayor. It is obvious that Mayor Lito Atienza only wants Manny in the picture so that his wife would have an easier time to win. Oh well. Not much I can do about it.
The best part of the entire match was when Manny gave a Thank you speech. As usual, his English was on key. 
Thanks bringing home the gold Manny. You’ve made the Filipino people proud once again.
